Welcome to Switzerland

Exceptionally Picturesque.

Switzerland. If your passion for a taste of the “high-life” embraces carving through glistening white powdered slopes, soaring above snow-capped peaks and deep ravines cradled in thrilling aerial tramways and cable cars, and marveling at the constantly changing vistas of captivating Alpine scenery from the carefree comfort of a rail-car’s panoramic windows, Switzerland is doubtlessly your European vacation destination for flair, fashion, travel, and sheer sensation!

The exceptionally picturesque Golden Pass train route cuts a swath diagonally across the pristine center of Switzerland, connecting Zurich with Lake Geneva and laces together a host of Switzerland’s vivid sights. As a “metropolis of experiences” by the water with a magnificent view of snowcapped Alps on the horizon.

Zurich offers a unique mixture of attractions – over 50 museums and more than 100 art galleries, international fashion labels and Zurich designers. Embedded between the hilly terrain of the Jura, the French speaking city of Geneva lies in the bay where the Rhone departs from Lake Geneva. With its cosmopolitan flair, the European seat of the UNO and headquarters of the Red Cross is known as the “Capital of Peace”.

Not many European cities have managed to retain their historic features quite as successfully as Bern, the capital of Switzerland. The ancient town of Bern is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which means it is considered one of the most important sites contributing to the present world culture. Shopping is heartily encouraged, and in fact, Bern boasts the longest weather-sheltered shopping promenades in all of Europe (nearly 6 kilometers of arcades!). Lucerne, the gateway to central Switzerland, is situated on Lake Lucerne and surrounded by an incredible mountainous panorama.

Lucerne’s famous Swiss watch/souvenir shops, beautiful lakeside settings, and the exciting mountainous excursions of Rigi, Pilatus and Stanserhorn, make it a must-see for many travel groups and individuals on a captivating journey through central Switzerland.
